Q. How are you settling in at your new office?
A. I feel like I've been working here for a long time.

Q. What's the biggest surprise you've had in starting the job?
A. I was aware the health center was here, but I was unaware of the amount of services that we provide to the community and how many people really need our help. I am so glad that I have been given the opportunity to "give back to the community."

Q. What challenges do you see in your new position?
A. My first challenge is learning how the GBVHC Organization works and how it interacts with the community. Although I have been in human resources for more than 20 years, each company is different. Getting to know the staff is a priority for me. Great Brook Valley Health Center is a great place to work and I would like it to be perceived as the "Best Place to Work."

Q. How different is this job from your previous position?

A. The actual day-to-day is not much different. The people are different but the issues are about the same.

Q. How close is this to what you imagined in high school you'd end up doing?
A. I always thought that I would be in health care of some sort. Great Brook Valley Health Center is a "family" and I'm very glad that I am part of this organization.

Q. Where's the best place to get lunch near your new location?

A. El Basha

Q. What do you hope to be doing 10 years from now?
A. I want to be working at GBVHC. I foresee the center being bigger and better than ever.
