Oxford pursuing $1M funding for infrastructure improvements

The town of Oxford is pursuing a $1 million MassWorks grant for improvements along the Route 20 corridor.
According to the Oxford Business Association, the town will be pursuing funding for the placement of sewers along the route while the state prepares for a $25 to $30 million improvement project for the road. The plan would be to coordinate with the Massachusetts Department of Transportation and extend sewers while the other construction is taking place, thus cutting down on construction.
