Swissturn, along with other local manufacturers, have in the past employed the services of Malden Centerless. Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
“Having this capability in-house is going to benefit our customers by managing costs and lead
Times,” Swissturn/USA President Rick Laviolette said in the press release. “We’re looking forward also to working with Malden Centerless Grinding’s customers.”
Malden Centerless’ employees and equipment have been transferred to Swissturn’s Oxford facility. Laviolette appointed Swissturn/USA’s Vice President of Commercial Operations Dean Russell to lead the integration.
Swissturn/USA is an employee-owned contract manufacturer serving industries including medical device, photonics, electronics, electric power, defense, firearms, aerospace, and industrial products.
