Oxford CPAP device manufacturer to be acquired

An Oxford-based manufacturer of CPAP machines cleaning devices, SoClean, is being purchased by a Toronto-based health care firm.

DW Healthcare Partners is purchasing the company, San Francisco-based financial institution White Oak Healthcare Finance announced Tuesday, adding that it has created a $60 million credit facility to finance the acquisition.

Neither company announced a final purchase price, and DW Healthcare Partners last week only announced an investment in SoClean, not a full acquisition.

SoClean provides fully-automated CPAP cleaning devices, a product that Co-Founder and Managing Partner of DWHP Andrew Carragher said “revolutionized” the way that CPAP machines are cleaned.

“We are excited to back a product that provides such substantial value to its users,” he said.

In a statement in the same announcement from the Toronto healthcare firm, SoClean CEO called DWHP an “ideal partner."
