Owner of Apex Center sells Devens hotel for $18M to Lexington-based property firm

A hotel in Devens has been sold for $17.7 million to a Lexington-based firm, which owns a number of hotel, retail, commercial and medical properties.

The sale of Hilton Garden Inn Devens Common, located at 59 Andrews Parkway, to 298 Queen City Hotel LLC was finalized on May 24, according to Worcester District Registry of Deeds records. 

Queen City is a Lexington-based entity, which shares an address and managers with Jamsan Management. Jamsan owns 70 hotels across New England, according to the company’s website. Central Massachusetts hotels in Jamsan’s portfolio include a Holiday Inn Express in Hudson, Aloft Framingham on Route 9, and a DoubleTree Hotel location in Milford, which the company bought for nearly $21 million in 2019

Jamsan holds more than 300,000 square feet of retail and commercial property. 

The property was sold by Devens Inn LLC, a Westford-based entity, which shares a manager and an address with RAVentures, a real estate firm that includes the Apex Center in Marlborough and the 110 Grill restaurant chain in its portfolio.

The 118-room Devens hotel was constructed in 2011 and was given a tax assessment value of $24.9 million, according to MassDevelopment, which is responsible for Devens property records.
