The Community Foundation of North Central Massachusetts is accepting grant applications for the Nashoba Valley Healthcare Fund Grant Program.
Grant awards typically range from $5,000 to $20,000 with $107,288 available for distribution this year. Larger scale, collaborative projects will also be considered if the request is justified by the impact of the project, according to a press release from CFNCM.
The fund is designed to advance the community health of residents in 11 communities: Ashby, Ayer, Bolton, Groton, Harvard, Lancaster, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley and Townsend. Priority will be given to, but not limited to, proposals covering areas including access to healthcare services, behavioral health, elder health, prevention of health problems and youth and adolescent health.
“The pandemic created and exacerbated many health issues that members of our communities face,” said Stephen Adams, CFNCM president, said in the release.
Grant applications will be accepted through April 15 and award decisions will be finalized by May 27.
