Outlook good for law jobs
Forty-seven percent of law firms and corporate legal departments plan to add staff in the coming year, while only 2 percent anticipate layoffs, according to a new survey by Robert Half Legal. The biggest growth was expected in the specialties of litigation, corporate governance and intellectual property. The survey included responses from 300 of the largest law firms and corporations in the U.S. and Canada.
