Cell phone tower operator and owner Optasite Inc. of Westborough has named Canadian telecommunications executive Michael Boychuk to its board of directors.
Boychuk currently serves as senior vice president and treasurer of BCE Inc., Canada’s largest telecom company. According to Optasite, Boychuck has extensive experience in mergers and acquisitions and has been involved with BCE financings in excess of $20 billion.
The addition of Boychuk brings the number of Optasite board members to seven.
Optasite owns and operates 511 telecommunications towers in 29 states and the U.S. Virgin Islands.
