Open Solutions to buy Canadian competitor
Bank software maker Open Solutions Inc. of Glastonbury announced plans to acquire a Canada-based competitor, Fincentric Corp., for an undisclosed sum. The acquisition must be approved by Fincentric’s shareholders, and is expected to close within 45 days. Fincentric, which specializes in software for financial services firms, will continue to operate from its Richmond, British Columbia headquarters. Open Solutions said the deal expands its range of products and potential clients in the financial services software market.
