All visitors will be welcome to come back to Old Sturbridge Village beginning Saturday, President and CEO Jim Donahue announced in a June 11 letter posted to the museum’s website.
The public opening will follow a three-day soft opening available only to Old Sturbridge Village members, beginning Wednesday.
Indoor exhibits will remain closed for the time being and standard social distancing measures will be in place, according to the organization’s updated visitor information. The museum’s dining options will be serving limited menus for takeout, masks will be required for those two years of age or older, and parties are asked to stay six feet away from other parties. Visitors, including members, will be required to reserve their tickets online ahead of time, and will be required to choose a date and time block during which to arrive.
After arrival, visitors will be allowed to stay on the property until Old Sturbridge Village closes at 5 p.m.
The museum will operate between Wednesday and Sunday, with new tickets being released each Wednesday, according to the visitor guidance.
