Jim Donahue, who has been the president and CEO of Old Sturbridge Village since 2007, will remain in the position at the living historical museum through 2014.
Donahue came to OSV after being a banker and founder of a charter school in his native Rhode Island. Since then, Donahue has delivered a 9 percent year-to-date attendance increase this year. He trimmed expenses and improved the visitor experience by expanding the number of in-costume historical staff.
The museum depicts life in the 1830s.
