The New York Times Co. reported that January advertising revenues for its New England Media Group – which includes the Worcester Telegram & Gazette as well as the Boston Globe – dropped 9.7 percent to $34.8 million.
Circulation revenues were up 1.8 percent for the New York Times Co. as a whole, but fell by an undisclosed amount for the New England group of papers.
The company as a whole saw its advertising revenue from continuing operations fall 2.1 percent, while total revenues dipped 0.4 percent.
