The New York Times Co., parent company of the Boston Globe and the Worcester Telegram & Gazette, saw its revenues decline 2.8 percent year-over-year to $643 million in the fourth quarter of 2011.
Profits fell 12.2 percent to $58.9 million.
Revenues for New England Media Group, which includes the Globe and Telegram, fell 7.7 percent for the quarter to $104.4 million.
Last month, the company closed the sale of its Regional Media Group to Halifax Media Holdings for $143 million.
