Two apartment complexes in Northborough totaling 15 units sold for $2.8 million to an entity registered to Subrahmanyam Kota, according to the Worcester South District Registry of Deeds.
Kota, the buyer, is the CEO of The Boston Group, a tech and software consulting service located across the street from the two apartment complexes at 21 Southwest Cutoff, according to TBG’s website. The company also has offices in India and Singapore.
Sold Dec. 1, the property at 22 Southwest Cutoff includes 11 units and 26 Southwest Cutoff has four units, according to the Northborough data assessors. All together, the two properties span about 1.3 acres.
They were both last sold for $188,000 in 1980 to Helen and Jose Garcia, per the deed registry. They are assessed at about $1.2 million, with the 11-unit property making up $1.1 million of that assessment.
The Boston Group could not be reached for comment Monday morning.
