North Brookfield Savings Bank has promoted John Fearing to the newly created role of senior vice president and chief commercial loan officer.
Fearing joined NBSB as SVP and senior commercial lending officer in January and took on the new role Monday.
Fearing will oversee NBSB’s commercial lending team, managing the acquisition and servicing of new and existing commercial loans, and support growth of the bank’s commercial loan portfolio to promote continued expansion, according to a Friday press release from NBSB.
Prior to joining NBSB, Fearing served as senior vice president and chief lending officer at Southbridge-based Savers Bank for 16 years. In his previous position, Fearing supervised and managed the bank’s commercial, residential and consumer loan servicing and collections departments.
Fearing earned his bachelor’s degree from Nichols College in Dudley.
