Officials mark the grand opening of Stix Noodle Bar Monday on Franklin Street in Worcester.

The latest restaurant — and the first in a wave set to open this year — is opening Monday at Worcester's Grid District.

Stix Noodle Bar joins Brew on the Grid in the Grid District development on the south edge of Worcester Common. An indoor and outdoor beer hall called Brew Garden is set to open this spring next door to Stix, at the former Paris Cinema site. Just across Portland Street, Revolution Pie + Pint and Craft Table & Bar are expected to open this spring as part of a comedy club called Woohaha.

Techni Mediterranean Grill, around the corner of Portland Street, closed last month but is slated to reopen soon as The Missing Link.

What is beginning to become a row of eateries along Franklin Street includes the opening last month of Taste of Mediterranean a few buildings down at 20 Frankin St.

Stix Noodle Bar scheduled a ceremonial opening from noon to 2 p.m. Monday with City Manager Edward Augustus and City Councilor Candy Mero-Carlson. The menu includes appetizers like edamame and dumplings, main dishes of teppanyaki and ramen, and wok-inspired items.

Stix Noodle Bar, Brew on the Grid, Beer Garden, Revolution Pie + Pint and Craft Table & Bar are all part of the Marlborough company New England Craft Restaurant Concepts. Revolution Pie + Pint has an existing location in Lynn, and Craft Table & Bar in East Boston, and Brew on the Grid is scheduled to open new locations in Marlborough and Lynn this month, and Salem this spring.
