Worcester Business Journal is seeking nominations for its 24th annual 40 Under Forty Awards.
The 40 Under Forty Award recognizes outstanding young leaders who are making a difference in the Central Massachusetts business community. Honorees can be entrepreneurs who have founded innovative enterprises, people working to grow a business from within, or people working to better the community in the nonprofit or public sector.
Nominations must be submitted here by midnight Friday, May 5. To be eligible, nominees must work in Central Massachusetts, live in Massachusetts or a bordering community, and be 39 years old or younger at the time of the awards ceremony, which is scheduled for Sept. 13.
Judges base their scoring based on early career success, entire career potential, commitment to the community, and the thoroughness of the nomination.
Winners will be announced and profiled in WBJ’s Aug. 21 edition, and a celebration will be held at Mechanics Hall in Worcester.
CORRECTION: A previous version of this article incorrectly said 2023 will be the 23rd annual 40 Under Forty Awards. The correct figure is this will be the 24th annual awards.
