Nichols College began offering courses in Marlborough for the first time during the just-completed school year, but later this month it will ceremonially mark the opening of its expansion into MetroWest.
A ribbon-cutting and information session for the public is scheduled from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. for May 31 at the Apex Center of New England plaza. The event will allow people to meet with faculty, as well as enjoy use of sports simulators at Apex Center's entertainment complex at 21 Apex Drive.
Nichols, whose main campus is in Dudley, expanded into Marlborough this past school year for the first time. The college said it had noticed increased interest from students in MetroWest.
The courses, for both undergraduates and graduates, are held at night at Massachusetts International Academy at 280 Locke Drive.
