Nichols College will offer courses for the first time this fall in Marlborough on the campus of the Massachusetts International Academy.
Nichols will start with a single evening class, a graduate course called business communications, which will run Thursdays at 6 p.m. for 90 minutes each week starting Oct. 26.
The Massachusetts International Academy is located at 280 Locke Drive, just south of where Interstates 495 and 290 meet. The academy is a college-prep school for high school graduates from overseas looking to study in the United States. Nichols is one of the school’s matriculation partners.
The Dudley college has seen increased interest from students in the MetroWest area, said William Boffi, Nichols College’s vice president for enrollment. Two additional graduate evening classes, Cultural Awareness in Global Business and Current Trends in Leadership, will be added there starting in the spring 2018 semester. Undergraduate offerings are expected to start next spring.
Nichols recently launched a master’s program in counter-terrorism studies for those studying for careers in intelligence, public policy and security.
