Nichols College of Dudley has named Michael J. Stanton vice president for administration.
In his new position, he will be responsible for departments including the business office, building and grounds, facilities, food services, human resources, the campus bookstore and public safety. He will also oversee the college budget.
Stanton previously worked as controller at the University of Massachusetts Medical School. Before that, he was director of accounting for the Massachusetts Educational Financing Authority, controller for All Seasons Services Inc. and manager of financial reporting for Rolls-Royce Naval Marine Inc.
He has a bachelor’s degree in accounting and an MBA from Bryant University and is a certified public accountant.
He lives in Walpole with his wife, Marianne, and two children.
