Nichols College in Dudley announced on Wednesday three new business concentrations which will launch come the next academic year.
The school is adding sport sales and strategy, sport marketing and content creation, and real estate management to its bachelor of science in business administration degree programs.
The sport marketing and content creation concentration will focus on brand management, digital asset creation and social media management. The sport sales and strategy concentration will emphasize selling, negotiating and relationship building, according to Nichols.
The real estate management concentration, in turn, will prepare students for real estate licensure, real estate law application, appraisal and market analysis methods, sales and negotiation strategies, as well as investment decision making.
“These new concentrations are driven by industry demand, but also by the interests and passions of students who want to increase their skills and channel those passions into targeted careers,” said Mauri Pelto, dean of academic affairs, in a statement. “Nichols can offer them distinctive opportunities and access to a faculty and alumni network who are successful in both fields."
