Nichols College of Dudley has added Joseph J. Carlone, president of Linemaster Switch Corp. in Woodstock, Conn., to its board of advisors.
Carlone joined Linemaster in 1996 as general manager and soon became senior vice president and then president. In 2002, he became the owner of the company.
Before Linemaster, Carlone was director of operations and general manager for ITT Cannon.
The board of advisors develops an internship and recruitment pipeline for Nichols students and graduates. It is made up of alumni, business leaders and educators.
Carlone lives in Brooklyn, Conn., with his wife, Elizabeth and their four children, Amy, Joseph Jr., Timothy and Kimberley.
