Appledore Engineering of Portsmouth, N.H., is merging with Tighe & Bond, a large Westfield-based engineering firm with an office in Worcester.
Tighe & Bond said the merger will let it expand into New Hampshire and Maine markets. Currently, it has three offices in Massachusetts and two in Connecticut.
Appledore will do business as “Appledore Engineering, a division of Tighe & Bond.”
