Mere months after Clark University rebranded its School of Management in order to stand out in a competitive landscape, The Princeton Review named it as one of the best business schools nationally in 2024.
Clark University’s School of Business joined The Business School at Worcester Polytechnic Institute as the two Central Massachusetts school to be listed on Princeton Review’s best on-campus MBA programs for 2024, an unranked list of 244 business schools developed based on combined institutional and survey data including career outcomes, admissions selectivity, and academic rigor.
Clark ranked 6th out of 10 in the Princeton Review’s most competitive students category, one of 18 ranked categories in the organization’s yearly report. Rankings are based on survey results from administrators at the 244 business schools, in addition to 21,500 students enrolled at the institutions’ on-campus MBA programs when asked about how competitive their classmates are, how heavy their workload is, and the perceived academic pressure at their business schools, according to The Princeton Review’s website.
Clark’s recognition comes as the university rebranded and renamed its School of Business in June from its previous name, the School of Management, in an effort to rise to the demand of more specialized degrees and make the program stand out among the competitive college admissions landscape.
“Our MBA continues to prove itself as one of the top programs in the nation,” David Jordan, dean of the School of Business, said in a Friday press release from the university. “It’s an honor to be included in The Princeton Review once again; it shows our continuous commitment to program quality and rigor, and dedication to our students, by our staff and faculty.”
The 12 other Massachusetts business schools on The Princeton Review’s list are:
