NewCorr Packaging, a corrugated sheet manufacturer, has completed a 40,000-square-foot expansion of its Northborough warehouse.
NewCorr's warehouse at 66 Lyman St. already spanned 180,000 square feet before the most recent expansion, which includes new loading docks to meet growing truck volume for shipments.
The expansion, which includes renovation to the front entry and lobby, among other areas, was a complex undertaking while the warehouse was continuing to operate, the company said.
Maugel Architects of Harvard, which designed the project, said it worked closely with NewCorr and the engineering team of TFMoran of New Hampshire, WDA Design Group of Westborough and Vlachos Associates of Reading to fit the expansion in a tight area with a steep elevation change. FW Madigan of Worcester was the general contractor.
