To support a new contract with a lubricant company, a transportation solutions firm has opened a new shop on Millbury Street in Worcester.
Transervice Logistics, a New York-based customized transportation firm, announced Tuesday it has been selected by Lakeville-based Dennison Lubricants to provide maintenance services to a fleet of 61 vehicles delivering lubricants, greases and oils to the New England marketplace.
Transervice’s new shop, which began operations last month, is located at 692-694 Millbury Street, a 44,000-square-foot warehouse. The location will be staffed by two technicians and overseen by longtime General Manager Frank Vitarelli.
It’s unclear if the company is purchasing or leasing part of the building, as land records show the owner is Oilzum LLC. A company spokesperson did not immediately return a request for comment on a potential land transaction or lease.
