New Worcester portal connects job seekers with essential employers

A new hiring portal developed by the City of Worcester, MassHire and the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce will help connect job seekers with essential service providers looking to hire more help in the midst of the COVID-19 crisis.
Employers whose businesses are deemed essential will be able to register on the website and post their jobs, as well as receive contact information for those seeking employment. The portal will be available to low-risk job seekers, including those who have been laid off.
The portal will cater to postings for drivers, delivery services, industrial cleaners, medical support staff and the like, according to the press release.
