New SVP At Nichols
Reinhardt
Along with our featured Q&A, Bill Pieczynski, Nichols College announced another promotion recently: Alan Reinhardt as provost and senior vice president.
Reinhardt has worked at the college since 1985, starting as an assistant professor and becoming a professor, then a dean, and then vice president for academic affairs.
His new position gives him responsibility for all academic programs and services in the day and evening division. He will also continue to serve as the dean for academic affairs within the day division.
He has a bachelor's degree in English from the University of Pennsylvania, a master's in English from Indiana University and a Ph.D. in rhetoric and composition from Indiana University of Pennsylvania.
He lives in South Woodstock, Conn., with his wife Stephanie and daughter Sonya.
