New Site For CIOs
IDG Communications, a media and events subsidiary of Framingham's International Data Group, has joined with business communications technology company Avaya to create a new website for information professionals, the CIO Collaboration Network.
The site combines aspects of "earned," "paid" and "owned" media, featuring articles, commentary and tools allowing members to interact, along with information specifically on Avaya products. Avaya salespeople will be able to use the site's contents with prospects and clients.
Correction: A previous version of this story mistakenly identified the identity of the entity creating the new site as International Data Group rather than IDG Communications.
