New SBA loan for veterans
Waldemar Medina of Connecticut was one of the first three veterans in the nation to receive a loan from the U.S. Small Business Administration and lenders under the Patriot Express Pilot Plan Initiative , aimed at assisting military community entrepreneurs, rolled out a month ago. Medina, among 20 other loan recipients across the country, received $100,000 to start Walt Medina & Associates LLC.
