BluePearl Pet Hospital has opened in Framingham, after moving from a location in Waltham.
BluePearl is now operating from a 19,874-square-foot space at 659 Worcester Road, after having moved there in November from its former location at 180 Bear Hill Road in Waltham. The new Framingham location is located in a plaza featuring other tenants like Trader Joe’s and a Ninety Nine Restaurant & Pub location.
The plaza is owned by The Hamilton Co. of Allston.
“This commercial lease agreement with BluePearl Pet Hospital establishes an easily accessible, centrally located facility providing high quality veterinary care services to Greater Boston and the MetroWest region,” Jameson Brown, chairman and CEO of The Hamilton Co., said in a Wednesday press release regarding the plaza’s new tenant.
Services at the new location include anesthesia & pain management, critical care, diagnostic imaging, emergency medicine, internal medicine, and surgery, according to BluePearl’s website.
The Florida-based firm operates over 100 animal hospitals across 30 states, with its Framingham location being its only in Central Massachusetts. Its only other New England location is in Charlestown.
