Attorney Eugene P. O'Donnell was elected to serve as president-elect of the Worcester County Bar Association at its annual meeting.
O'Donnell, currently a partner in the law firm of Fletcher, Tilton & Whipple in Worcester, will take over as president of the 1,200-member association in September 2010.
Prior to O'Donnell's installment, Blaise P. Berthiaume will serve as president beginning on Sept. 1 after current president Stephen R. Anderson steps down from the position. Berthiamume has a general law office in North Brookfield with his two sons, Damien and Padgett.
Anthony J. Vigliotti was elected to serve as secretary/treasurer of the organization. Vigliotti maintains a law practice at 34 Mechanic St. in Worcester and is the register of deeds for southern Worcester County.
Seven attorneys that were newly elected to the association's executive committee include: Michael D. Badger of Worcester; Paul M. Cranston of Barre; Michael Y. Edmonds of Northborough; Mark A. Goldstein of Gardner; Julie S. Morrill of Southbridge; Anne L. O'Connor of Worcester and Geoffrey E. Spofford of Worcester.
