The United Way of North Central Massachusetts elected four new directors: John DiNapoli, Unitil Corp.; Joseph Paul, Oracle; Suzanne Farias, Four Points by Sheraton; and Joanne Foster, House of Peace & Education, as an ex-officio director.
The organization also announced the following officers: Dr. Bruce J. Man, Medical Associates Pediatrics, chair; Robert F. Chauvin, SimplexGrinnell, vice chair; Martin F. Connors Jr., Rollstone Bank and Trust, campaign chair; Matt W. Johnson, Fitchburg Post Office, community investment chair; Keith Boissoneau, Sterilite Corp., treasurer; Daniel M. Asquino, Mount Wachusett Community College, assistant treasurer; Robert V. Antonucci, Fitchburg State University, clerk; and Phillip M. Grzewinski, United Way of North Central Massachusetts, president.
Thomas Hughes, Fitchburg High School, was re-elected to a one-year term; John Flick, Flick Law Group, and James Javaras, The BHR Life Companies, to two-year terms; and Sheila Sykes, Fitchburg State University, to a three-year term.
The United Way of North Central Massachusetts serves Ashburnham, Ashby, Ayer, Baldwinville, Barre, Devens, Fitchburg, Gardner, Groton, Harvard, Hubbardston, Leominster, Littleton, Lunenburg, Pepperell, Shirley, Templeton, Townsend, Westminster and Winchendon.
