Carol Meyrowitz has a new two-year contract as CEO of Framingham-based TJX Cos. In addition, the company announced a number of other executive promotions to refine the reporting structure at the discount retailer.
Ernie Herman was promoted to president. He previously served as senior executive vice president and group president.
Herman, along with Jeffrey Naylor, senior executive vice president, chief financial and administrative officer, will report to Meyrowitz.
In addition, the company announced that Nan Stutz has been promoted to senior executive vice president, group president of HomeGoods and TJX Canada, while Michael MacMillan has been promoted to senior executive vice president, group president, with continuing oversight of the Marmaxx Group.
The promotions and reporting structure are meant to put a "seamless leadership succession plan in place," according to a press release from the company.
TJX operates more than 2,700 stores including TJ Maxx, Marshalls and HomeGoods.
