After working for Worcester’s AdCare Hospital in the eighties, Frances A. La Prad is returning to the alcohol and drug treatment facility to take on a newly created role.
In her new position as director of health information systems, La Prad is helping the hospital move from paper to electronic records.
After working as director of medical records at AdCare in the mid-80s, La Prad moved to Great Brook Valley Health Center, where she helped implement electronic medical records.
AdCare offers inpatient and outpatient treatment in Worcester, Boston, Qunicy, North Dartmouth, West Springfield and Warwick, R.I.
