All-Purpose Storage of Keene, New Hampshire, purchased the location of Rt. 140 Self Storage in Gardner for $7.25 million, according to the Worcester District Registry of Deeds.
The location, at 143 Colony Road in Gardner, consists of over 500 self-storage units as well as contractor bay space and additional land for further construction, according to Joel Aho, president of Aho Properties in Marlborough who represented the seller in the deal, which closed on Wednesday.
All-Purpose Storage operates more than 65 self-storage facilities throughout New England and the Midwest, according to the company’s website. This Gardner location is the company’s first in Worcester County.
All-Purpose Storage is owned by Las Vegas real estate investment firm, Patriot Holdings.
The seller, Rock Paper Scissors Corp. of Westminster, purchased the property in 2012 for $1 million.
The 3.7-acre property is assessed by the City of Gardner for $1.8 million.
