Leigh Rae has been named director of the Doyle Center and Community Park in Leominster.
The Doyle Center is one of 17 parks and tracts of land in Central Massachusetts owned by the Trustees of Reservations, a land trust founded in 1891.
Rae’s new job includes building new programs at the Doyle Center, the Putnam Conservation Institute and Doyle Community Park and helping to make the property welcoming and accessible to the Fitchburg-Leominster community.
Rae previously led the Parks for People program in Newark, N.J., as state director of The Trust for Public Land. Before that, she was a vice president at The Prudential, handling real estate portfolios.
She has a bachelor’s degree from Hamilton College in New York and a master’s degree from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology’s Center for Real Estate.
She lives in Montague with her husband and teenage daughter.
