New Dean At Saint John’s

Saint John’s High School in Shrewsbury has appointed Jason Barell as dean of students.

Barell will oversee the operation of daily student life with specific focus on the school’s student work-study program, student conduct, and various administrative projects.

Previously, he served as the chair of the physical education department at John Hope College Prep High School in Chicago, where he created on Outward Bound program for students.

Barell has a bachelor’s degree in physical education and health education from Ithaca College in New York and a master’s in educational administration and leadership from the University of Massachusetts in Boston.
