Data warehouse company Netezza Corp. of Marlborough reported a profit of $850,000 for the third quarter compared to $3.5 million a year ago.
For the first nine months of the year, the company’s profit was $1.3 million compared to $8.7 million last year.
Revenue for the quarter and for the first nine months of the year was more stable. For the quarter, the company brought in $47.7 million compared to $50.6 million a year ago. For the year so far, revenue was $137 million compared to $137.2 million.
The company finished the quarter with cash and equivalents of $70.4 million compared to $111.6 million a year ago.
