National Grid, WPI team up for Drive Electric event

An event showcasing the potential and the current state of electric cars will be taking place at WPI on Tuesday in conjunction with National Grid.
The event will serve as a gathering for electric car afficianados and those interested in learning more. National Grid will be bringing its Ford Fusion Energi but many other cars will be on hand. These events are designed as educational opportunities and a chance to get up close and personal with the latest electric car technology.
National Grid is hosting the event along with WPI and the Worcester CleanTech Incubator at the campus’ Higgins House parking lot from 3 to 6:30 p.m.
