National Grid Completes Fourth Solar Project

With the completion of three new solar installations, energy utility National Grid has become the largest owner of solar generation in New England.

Waltham-based National Grid marked the completion of three new solar facilities in Revere, Haverhill and Everett. Those three projects, combined with an already-completed solar installation in Whitinsville/Sutton, brings the utility’s total solar energy generation capacity to 3.4 megawatts.
