The Wellesley-Natick Veterinary Hospital’s property on Worcester Street in Natick sold for $2.44 million in a deal closed April 8.
The veterinary practice is roughly 5,780 square feet, according to the Town of Natick assessors’ database, and is located at 359 Worcester St.
It was sold by Neray, LLC, which is registered to Jeffrey Katuna, the hospital’s founder, according to its website.Katuna has owned the property since at least 1994 when he signed onto the mortgage, according to the Middlesex South District Registry of Deeds.
Katuna could not be reached for comment on the sale. A property transaction doesn't necessarily mean Katuna is selling the actual business, or closing it. The hospital, on its website, is actively soliciting for new patients.
The buyer was an entity registered to Terravet, a Pennsylvania-based company which offers assistance to veterinary real estate owners for selling, leasing, and valuing property.
The property is assessed by the Town of Natick at almost $1.12 million.
