A 31,000-square-foot single-story commercial building on H.F. Brown's Way in Natick has been sold to a Boston-based real estate investment firm for $3 million, according to New Dover Associates of Framingham, which brokered the deal.
Green Brick Development LLC purchased the 5.1-acre site, which was formerly a Gold's Gym, from NEICO Realty Trust in a transaction that was finalized Monday.
Green Brick owns other MetroWest commercial properties including one on Mercer Road in Natick and another on Union Avenue in Sudbury, according to Scott Hughes, president of New Dover Associates.
Hughes credited the strong market in Natick for flex space - meaning the space can be used for a variety of options - for getting the deal done and he said the Brown's Way site has attractive amenities, such as ample parking and air conditioning throughout the building. Green Brick Development also took advantage of attractive financing, Hughes said.
Hughes said he expects the building will be leased out to multiple tenants.
