Royal Philips Electronics will incorporate robotic-assisted systems made by Natick-based Corindus Inc. in its cardiology solutions, and Philips will take a minority state in Corindus, the two companies announced.
Financial terms of the deal were not disclosed.
Corindus’s products allow for the robotic-assisted placement of coronary guidewires and catheters.
Royal Philips Electronics is based in the Netherlands and operates in more than 100 countries, in health care, lighting and other industries.
