Natick-based National Dentex Corp. has acquired Dental Art Laboratories Inc. of Lansing, Mich.
Like National Dentex, Dental Art operates dental laboratories for dentists, universities and other institutions. Dental Art has been in business since 1950.
National Dentex operates labs in 31 states and one Canadian province and specializes in custom made dental prosthetics. The company said it is also in the midst of acquisition talks with a number of other dental companies.
Financial terms of the Dental Art deal were not disclosed.
