Avenu at Natick, an ages-62-and-up apartment community, was sold to developer and property manager, Greystar Real Estate Partners of Charleston, South Carolina for $86.5 million, in a deal that closed Aug. 2, according to the Middlesex South Registry of deeds.
The seller was National Development of Newton who opened the 164-unit complex in 2019.
Avenu at Natick is part of a growing market for senior-living complexes, geared towards an aging population. The complex advertises luxury amenities including a pool, putting green, theater, and salon.
Locally, Greystar also manages The Retreat at Marlborough, Avana Marlborough, Stone Gate Apartments in Marlborough, The 6Hundred in Worcester, and Colton Apartments in Worcester, according to their website.
