NAI Glickman’s Maria Adamo promoted to chief marketing officer

Maria Adamo, marketing director for Worcester real estate firm NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs, has been promoted to the brokerage’s chief marketing officer.

In her new role, Adamo will continue leading the firm’s marketing strategies while taking on a leadership role, which will focus on driving sales growth and strengthening the firm’s market presence, according to a press release issued by NAI Glickman Kovago & Jacobs on Monday.

“Maria joined us in 2022 as our new marketing director. Her impact was immediate, and evolutionary changes were quickly implemented. Her contributions not only improved all facets of our marketing and operations, her creativity, energy and professionalism redefined our culture with a remarkable ability to lead,” Michael Jacobs, managing principal at the firm, said in the press release. “Her growing contributions and influence are sure to have a lasting impact and she’ll be instrumental in our growth.”

Prior to working at the firm, Adamo worked in freelance and marketing agency roles in Massachusetts, New York, and California, managing clients including Converse and IBM. 

“I am honored to step into this position and continue building upon the incredible foundation we have at NAI GKJ,” Adamo said in the press release. “Having lived in Central Massachusetts for the past 10 years, I’ve had the privilege of growing alongside this vibrant region. I look forward to leading our talented team and strengthening connections with clients, partners, and the Central MA community as we continue to support the region’s growth.”

Adamo earned a bachelor’s degree in English literature from Colgate University in New York and a master’s degree in global marketing communications and advertising from Emerson College in Boston.
