After years of finding himself the subject of media interviews, Tim Murray will get his chance to ask the questions when the Worcester Regional Chamber of Commerce launches a TV show next month.
Hosted by Murray, who left his post last month as lieutenant governor to become president and CEO of the chamber, the show will feature Murray interviewing two to three guests per episode and air on Charter TV3.
The purpose of the half-hour “Chamber Exchange” is to increase awareness of chamber initiatives and programs, and highlight chamber events by showcasing members and interviewing business professionals, and public officials, the chamber said.
The first episode of “Chamber Exchange” will air at 7 p.m., Monday, Aug. 5, and will be re-broadcasted at 7 p.m. the following Thursday and Sunday. The show will be available on-demand locally for those with digital service.
The presenting sponsor for the show is Fallon Community Health Plan.
Anyone interested in a business topic to be discussed on air should contact Sharyn Williams at 508-753-2924, ext. 231, or swilliams@worcesterchamber.org.
