MTD Micro Molding files plans for Charlton expansion
MTD Micro Molding in Charlton is expanding its facility.
Charlton injection molding firm MTD Micro Molding has filed plans to nearly double the size of its facility.
The manufacturer is planning a 11,700-square-foot addition to its 15,750-square-foot building.
According to filings with the Charlton Planning Board, the expansion will accommodate the company’s business manufacturing and office space growth.
The expansion has been in the works since at least 2016.
In previous interviews, President Dennis Tully said the expansion will include a new tooling department, cleanroom manufacturing space, more storage, a conference space and a fitness center for employees.
A company representative could not immediately be reached for comment.
