A moving company has sold its former Townsend site for nearly $2.4 million to a pair of buyers from Harvard.
The site at 35 Scales Lane, in a small industrial park off Main Street just west of the Townsend town center, was sold a limited liability corporation registered to Jeremy Brockmann and Cabot Carabott of Harvard, according to the Worcester Registry of Deeds. The buyers, according to Greater Boston Commercial Properties of Northborough, which represented the seller, are Regional Home Care Inc., which specializes in sleep therapy equipment.
It was sold by Hyacinth Murray and Everett Murray, who share a Brockton address with the moving company, Triple M Movers. The sale closed Oct. 20.
Triple M Movers has existing locations in Brockton, Chelmsford and Stoughton.
The Scales Lane site spans 10 acres and was last assessed by the Town of Townsend at just under $1.2 million. It last sold in 2013 for $650,000.
